Steven Snipes is the Physician Assistant for Albany Urology Clinic. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology when he graduated Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University. He continued his education at Emory University School of Medicine where he was a honors graduate and received his Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant license.

In his early career, he first assisted in a wide array of cardiac, thoracic, and peripheral vascular procedures at Cardiovascular Surgical Associates in Albany, GA. Steven has spent most of his career at Albany Surgical where he first assisted in many general and oncologic procedures. He managed the pre-op and post-op of patients in general surgery procedures. Currently, Steven is devoting his time to patients at Albany Urology Clinic and Surgery Center as a provider where he performs the latest urological treatments as well as first assisting in the operating room. He actively listens and educates his patients and families to help them achieve their healthcare goals.

In his spare time, Steven likes to spend time with his wife, Alison, and their two children. He enjoys wakeboarding among other watersports.
