Khaled Ajib, MD
Khaled Ajib, MD, is a urologist with Albany Urology Clinic. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Ajib earned his medical degree from the University of Balamand. He completed his residency in urology at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center.
Dr. Ajib finished a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the University of Montreal, Canada. Moreover, he completed a society of urologic oncology fellowship at Toronto General Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Society of Urologic Oncology, American Urological Association, and European Urological Association.
Dr. Ajib has numerous publications to his credit that have appeared in several peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. His work on greenlight laser was cited in the 2019 Canadian Urological guidelines. He also wrote a chapter on bladder cancer in the American Urological Association Update Series used by physicians and trainees for continuous medical education. Furthermore, he worked on non-surgical treatments to offer to patients with advanced bladder cancer.
Dr. Ajib is excited to bring novel techniques to treat conditions affecting men and women’s urinary tract and reproductive systems. He is experienced in Robotic radical prostatectomy and in treating advanced prostate cancer. Additionally, he is skilled in treating benign enlargement of the prostate with minimally invasive techniques like Greenlight laser and Rezum.
