Dr. Daugherty has been affiliated with Albany Urology for over 20 years, practicing general urology with an emphasis on BPH, kidney stones, and urinary incontinence.

He was instrumental in developing our Ambulatory Surgery Center and bringing new technology to the Albany area. Notably, he performed the first laparoscopic nephrectomy at Phoebe Putney Hospital in 2002 and the first robotic prostatectomy in 2010.

His expertise includes minimally invasive BPH treatments such as the Urolift procedure, which he has performed more than 200 times. Additionally, he performed the first Interstim therapy for urinary incontinence in 2002 and continues to offer this at our surgery center. His practice also includes intravesical bladder Botox treatments and Bulkamid therapy for female urinary incontinence.

Dr. Daugherty has been married to his wife, Syndee, for 40 years. They have two grown children, Taylor and Kaitlin, and eight grandchildren. Outside of his practice, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, and pickleball.
