Dr. Scott M. Wendland earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his Doctorate from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He had an internship at POH Medical Center, Michigan State University and followed with a residency at POH Medical Center, Michigan State University in Pontiac, Michigan.
His residency included Urological Surgery as well as General Surgery. Dr. Wendland is Board Certified in Urology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Medical Association of Georgia, the American Urological Association, the Georgia Urological Association, and the Society of Robotic Surgeons.
His areas of expertise are Kidney Stones, Urological Cancer Care, BPH, and Voiding Dysfunction.
Dr. Wendland has been married to his wonderful wife Lauri Wendland for 23 years and together they have 4 amazing sons- Zach, Nick, Matthew, and Jacob Wendland. He and his family attend Gillionville Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, coaching his son’s sports teams, and spending time with his family.
