Leslie Bunch RN, is the Nurse Navigator for Albany Urology Clinic. She joined our team in 2012 and has more than 20 years experience in the field of nursing with the last 5 years focused in urology.
She graduated from Darton College in 1998 and then continued her nursing career at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where she had been employed since 1996. She worked in the SICU and Operating room while serving on the heart team and General surgery team in the OR. After her career at Phoebe Putney she moved to Palmyra Medical Center and was the head nurse on the Neurosurgery Team in the OR from 2005 to 2012.
Her nursing career has taken her all over the world. She has been to India nearly a dozen times on medical mission trips where she teaches nursing students and assists them in the operating room. Her goal is to eliminate the barriers of health care through Nurse Navigation and assist and teach patients about their treatments and illnesses but mostly to better their outcomes thru continuity of care.
